Argumentative Topics and Controversial Topics
There are many kinds of arguments that people argue over. Some of these topics can be relevant to the topic at hand and some of them are not. As an example, a debate about this or that can mean anything. Still, you might want to make a point about it in your speech.
Some of the most controversial topics may be the topic of religion. That is because it is the topic that has people arguing and thinking about it all the time. For example, some religions believe in reincarnation while others do not. Still, some religions do not agree on how to view other religions' teachings. Regardless, of whether or not it is a fact that a religion believes in reincarnation, a debate over it may occur over the course of a debate.
Another controversial topic is sex. People will argue that either sex is better than the other and if it is not better, then it is just about equal. It also depends on the person's opinion and upbringing. Either way, the topic of sex will probably be addressed in a debate.
